Yep got that e-mail here too. I'll be buying it.

Hope its the full program rather than the cut down smartphone app you get on windows mobile non-touchscreen phones.

Whilst there's obviously some nice benefits here, I think it's worth pointing out there's a huge difference between an iPhone and my geko in terms of suitability for mountain biking. The geko fits to a handlebar mount, and is a weather proof and very robust piece of kit built for the job. It's got scratches on the casing, I can use it wearing gloves, I've dropped it in a stream, it gets splatteredwith mud and grit etc.

I'd be v nervous about taking an iPhone riding. Wasn't built for his sort of abuse and a very expensive toy to break!

Just handy having memory map on yer phone - for "justincase" times. Proper GPS for oudoor pursuits.

I've got MM on an old WM touchscreen phone and it's great to have in your backpack as a backup to everything else - I have an eTrex that goes on the handlebars for all of Snowslaves reasons.

I'll prob get the app unless they take the p**s with the pricing....which may well be the case 🙁 They would do well to remember that the WM version is free so the iPhone app, while not free, should be suitably priced.

Yeah, got the email. I hope it doesn't require an upgrade of the PC software.

Does this mean you can get memory maps for macs now too or just the iphone?
