Erm, I seem to have been bullied/bantered into these two back-to-back in July. Not sure it's wise - chances of not getting injured in the Mega...?! Hmmm....
Funny though - the 2 extremes of biking in the space of 10 days, maybe do both events on one bike?! That's what a cyclocross bike is for, right?!

3 mates did it last year, 3 blokes, 6 bikes, 1 Passat = 20mpg...
