Anybody have a copy of the Bird Aeris 9 review from the June MBUK that they could share somehow please? I actually tried to buy a copy of MBUK in Dundee today just for this but couldn't find one anywhere....

That said having just found it it's only three paragraphs. 4/5 stars.

If it's that short, maybe someone could post a pic here?

I've got one already, but I'd be interested to read it anyway.

I've written about 1,000 words of my own review that I need to finish and publish soon.

Is the mbuk one an actual review or is it and infomercial or rehashed press release?

Really bugs me when you try to research a new bike, find 10 headlines about it, then read the same press release over and over.

Maybe I'm getting old, but bike journalism isn't what it used to be.

It is a review but is somewhat minimal (thanks @Ewan for sharing). Basically says good at speed, good on "tricky trails" (tech and steeps?), "numb" on less demanding stuff. Hopefully they have a more in depth one in the works for bike radar.

Isn't it really easy to get a demo on a Bird bike? I'd rather do that than read anything in a magazine.

I'll try to remember to pop it in this thread when I get there 👍

Will post on the FB owners group anyway

Sounds like any review for anything with 150mm or more travel these days!

It's not unfair TBH, it's still a very good bike on flatter techy trails but a bit dull on easy singletrack.
