On my 2010 Revelations with XT hub, the flange on the qr side of the axle sits about 2mm proud of the fork lower when the axle is threaded all the way in - the "manual" does mention this but the way I read it I exected the gap to disappear when the QR lever is closed - anything to worry about?

No....well, I'm still alive and my 2010 Reba with Maxle Lite does exactly the same. HTH 😀
