Just heard Mavic pronounced Mavitch on the Tour Series highlights. IDIOT!
Up there with Shimayno, and of course that popular bike, the Giant Deffy.

'Mavise' would just about make sense but there's no c=ch in French. :-/ Presumably that telly programme (program - sigh) is Yankee flavour. Their mangling is pretty blatant (which I know is ironic for a Brit ;-))
