Hi,
Is this possible? I think I remember on an earlier UST rim I was reccomended to use a Stans rim strip with a normal tyre.Just thinking of some Crossmax and was opening up tyre options.
Thanx,
Max

I've just set up some mavic 819 rims with a none tubeless high roller and an ignitor, just used quite a bit of stans fluid and a compressor to seat them, not gone down in a week.
Adil.

as above 823 with maxxi DH tyres, stans fluid, and a good compressor, sometimes had to use a tube to seat one side before removing it, re-valve and letting the compressor seat the other side, can be a messy job though

Works fine for me (819s and, well, tons of tyres tbh). Can take longer to seal but never caused a problem.
