Would it be any good on a kindle or is it a lot of pics which wouldn't really work on the graphics?

Its very pic heavy - a nice book though by it hadback and it will last for years ,

I've no idea how the graphics would work on a kindle but I reckon you'll be better with the large format of the book anyway, easier to take in.

Very good book btw!

Is that the Brian lopes one? It's been on my amazon wish list for ages and never got round to buying it.

I have both. This one really goes into a lot of detail. It is actually too much for me to absorb at this point.

This one covers basic riding fundamentals and was much more useful to me.
