I have an East Peak that must have been one of the first in the country. No longer state of the art but I am fond of it. I would like to say I bent it on a particularly extreme downhill but in fact I backed into a bollard while it was on the back of my van. The rear wheel has gone but the rear triangle also seems slightly out of true and our local Marin dealer reckons they can't find a part or fix it. Any suggestions? Anyone crash the front end of one?

Considering they all basically the same frame, and tended to crack at the BB, I'd suggest a wanted ad in the classified to see if anyone kept their Mount Vision back end? TBH the design was good in its day but surpassed many time over, I'd say hang it on the wall and look for something more upto date (in the 26er world) if you still want to use your old parts. Or there's always Oranges (bikes) way of fine tuning the alignment..
