this post acts as cry for help, a "wanted" request and a general grumble:
my old kona lava dome has been nicked.
not wanting to blow me own trumpet, but: i rode this thing from the top of alaska to the bottom of argentina 6 years ago, since then its been my round town bike. (stupid idea). now its gone. i'm gutted. it was nicked in central manchester last monday night. i resprayed it kawaski green (kermit the frog green really) a couple of years ago, and there's no decals on it. it had old thumbshifters on and crudely welded rack mounts on the front of the project two forks.... oh you know....
so that's the breaking news story, if you ever see it, er .... well tell me. thanks.
and i guess, (but i feel like i'm cheating on it.... i feel terrible in fact.) anyone got a 19" steel kona for sale?
That's a sad story, I'm really attached to my old GT after riding it across Spain, and it's a complete sh!t heap! I do have a friend with a Kona that's a bit big for her, will point her towards this post.
