Bit of an epic oldschool XC ride for us yesterday.
Inners to Gypsy Glen, Peebles, Glen Tress, Up to the boundary then open hill to Lee Pen and back down into Inners.
Wouldn't fancy it in the wet.

I rode to work this morning as normal... Hoping this isn't the ride highlight of the bank hol weekend, despite my old lower back injury randomly going ping last night!

46km of lovely* road ride around Gleneagles, Glen Devon and Glen Dunning. Really cold start at home (3*c) but 24*c by the time we had finished.

*apart from one utter idiot who tried to overtake around a left turn and t-junction, we ended up debating the finer points of his driving judgement and ability...

Ok, you can banish me now, because not only is this pic from last weekend, i'm riding a bike without any suspension and funny bent handle bars, and even worse, it's got a 'lecy motor on it...... 🙂

Paddleboarded 10 miles on the Avon. 5 upstream, 5 down. Quite tiring.

A big day on Deeside with temperatures in the low to mid 20’s. It felt way hotter heading up the steep south facing fireroads.
I rode Final Destination, ET, Mastermind and Heartbreak Ridge. 30 miles and 5000ft of up and I feel thoroughly beat up.

Took my lad up Dumyat on the macride. Half down, with some local trails thrown in.

He loved it even more than I did!

Trans-Savoie looks awesome. Slight loss of awesomeness due to use of 'analogue bikes' 😉

There's a big stand of woods between home and the Forest of Dean that's had *lots* of trailbuilding activity over the last couple of years.  We did our best to ride most of them.

40km, 1300m of climbing, Dust everywhere. Beer to follow. Summer needs to hang on for a bit longer....

Friday Pitmedden and then an evening on Loch Tay with the paddleboard at Kenmore. Yesterday I nipped to Ballo for a quick explore after work.

Bitta Coed y....

Though I hate to admit it, I've finally decided that [ new slabs notwithstanding] the Red Bull side is actually a bit shit.
MBR on the other hand is still marvelous.

Not much sun, in fact a bit drizzly at times, but hey ho! 40 miles or so down from Kirkby Stephen to Settle via Wild Boar Fell and Hawes.
