What is the best way to store these long term? Having a search over the net says different things about them having no memory so lots of little charges are fine but not to store fully charged?

Just pulled my lights out after the summer and they seem fine but wondered what is best long term? ๐Ÿ™‚

Used mine last week after 2 years of not being used. It spent a year in the fridge, then I eventually took it out and chucked it in a cupboard (in a room that is always fairly cold). I think I fully charged it 2 years ago then sort of drained it a bit to store it (instructions said store at 40%, but I stored it a probably nearer 80%). Anyway, flat as a fart last week, charged it up and it seems to be fine. I'm obviously not sure if it now as good as it was 2 years ago, but it certainly appeared to still have plenty of life.
