I'd like to upgrade my bike and change my Formula Oro K18 to Magura MT 4 or Magura MT 2 custom!

The MT 2 custom brakes have MT 2 master cylinders and MT 4 callipers. The only difference, that the MT4 levers have BAT (Bite Adjustment Technology) knobs... do You konw that technology? Does it worth to choose the BAT over the other one? What's Your opinion?

Many thanks!

I've got BAT on Louise brakes on 3 of my bikes. Never touched it to be honest - the 'default' lever position has been fine.

So is it only a technical bling-bling on the MT 4 levers? Anyway, I could change the lever positon of the MT 2s with a screwdriver... am i right?

you can change the lever position but not sure that affects bite point as such?

So the main difference between the MT4 and the MT2 levers, that on the MT4 lever I could change the lever position and the bite point, too? Or...?

sorry, not really able to comment - I don't have any of those levers - does the Magura site not explain the differences?

My understandign was that the MT2's had 2 part calipers but the 4's have a one part one but beyond that I'm not too sure about the lever ends.
