[#1213539]

Just thought i would put a link up here about an enduro event later in the year we are organising for Macmillan around Afan Argoed...

We are going to get Iron Horse Enduro rider "Dave Buchanon" to ride the event and set a benchmark time for the 100km route...

Thanks for any interest...

If you've every wondered what lies of piste when doing the Afan trails "don't miss this one" There realy is some great riding to be had. Even for semi locals like me, its being talked about as one of the not to miss events.

backhander

yes you will get an email reply confirming pre-registration.

A lady actually does is ie it's not automated so with current weather issues here in Wales there maybe a backlog to get through or the lady in question is unable to get to work.

If worried email again in a few days, suggest after weekend

Another to add to the list. Their support was invaluable with my dads cancer.

I did a couple of abseils off of a tower block for them once.
Is there anywhere I can download a sponsorship form?

Pre-registered

It's one job I simply could not do. Let's see how much we can raise for them.

Pre-registered but not had an e-mail back yet ๐Ÿ™ Might do as Pete said and e-mail again after weekend, don't want to miss out.

Colin why have you not posted on MTB-Wales or did I miss the post?

Dave Buchanan is pants at going fast- He only has one speed and that's for the long haul rides.

It will be an achievable "benchmark" time, I think. He's 40, after all!

Oh, and he'll be on a couple of nice Santa Cruz Blur XC carbons with syncros kit this year, and a smattering of Ergon loveliness.

Knowing the routes and trails that Colin knows around Afan, I would say this is not one to be missed. There will be plenty of fun natural and man made stuff out there. The natural stuff is what fires Afan far and above a lot of the riding, anywhere else.

Dave's Dad.

Thanks for all the positive posts on the event. Hopefully you've all got entry forms by now, but if there's any problems feel free to email me or call Macmillan directly.
