I've got a question about the bracket that connects to the custom headset spacer on a Mac Ride seat.

Something must move in that connection to allow you to steer. I assume the spacer stays fixed and moves within the collar of the bracket?

Yes, it's very smooth but long term I think the headset spacer might get worn

Correct as per others. I try to minimise the amount of cack I leave on the spacer when fitting the macride, but the boy's almost too big for it and there's minimal wear so far.

Thanks

My main concern was the spacer starting to spin and then scoring the steerer tube.

I've got two, and heavily used for nearly four years (kickstarter)

the spacer fits like a normal spacer, and isn't showing any wear.

best kids seat - we've een down some pretty sketchy stuff
