ive been riding around the bovey valley a fair bit recently and remembered seeing someone on here mention good off piste riding (as well as the pretty awesome bridleways) to be found. can anyone point me in the right direction? cheers!
A little further out: using OS Map OL28
1)Manaton - Water via Horsham bridle way is a good blast. Then down to
Lustliegh Cleve and out towards Hisley Wood.
2)Water on to Beckhams and onto the bridle way through Houndtor Wood.
3)Hunters tor and over the top to Sharpitor and the Nut Crackers can
be fun.
Hope this helps, we try to include these in our riding if in the area.
There's a little bit of cheeky in this, but i'm not going to point it out!
Notice the >800m of climbing in less than 25km too 😉
