Does anyone know whether the On One Lurcher colours have been finalised? I'm pretty much sure I want one, but the only ones I've seen so far have got a kind of stripe running along the underside of the down tube, which rather mings in my eyes. I rather liked the paint job with the dog on the headtube join, or would be happy with plain old black/raw. Any news?

I do sort of know.
It's on my computer in my bag. And I am typing this on my phone.
Frames going to paint soon.
Surprised you would rather have a dog on your frame than a stripe.
I think it's more stripey than doggy.
Will confirm shortly. Just sat on train platform and I only have the use of one arm due to shoulder surgery.

How could you not love a bike designer that comes out with gems like that!

They're up 🙂

Geom/Sizing as per other on-one 29ers ?

i.e. 18" looking good for a 6' tall, 32" inside length gent ? 🙂

Niners cost about £1500. I think we can do the Lurcher for well under half that.

They look way nicer than the 456C.

I can't afford and have no desire for a 29er, but if I did...

Love the orange one, kinda looks like a Niner Air 9. Nice one Brant.

Graphics and frame design nothing to do with me directly.
Geometry my Scandal geometry.
Daves big balls gets the mold cost paid and order placed.
I did a bit of wheel greasing to get the project finally moving after a lot of deadlock.
Quite looking forward to getting one, but onto the next project now, and then some.

There is a superlight race carbon 29er coming too from Planet X. Very racey.
Lurcher is trail tough, swapoutable but no slouch.

The matte grey with gloss black's going to be the one for me then. Looks a bit subtle and classy for an On One although anything would compared to my pink scandal. Rather excited. Anyone want to buy a Soda?

Is there a max rider weight limit for the lurcher?

I know the Scott Scale has a 16.5 stone limit on the Carbon models or the warranty becomes invalid which for a rider 6'5" seems a bit silly as it massively limits who is going to buy one given its a trail bike not out & out XC race machine.

Bol, not sure the shed fire image is representative of the black and grey if its the same paint job as mine. Not sure how on-one discribed mine- might be mat black with gloss black? Its on the on-one site under readers rides - Lucky the Lurcher - if you want to see one for real?

Thanks Lucky. The penny had actually just dropped that the grey was for illustrative purposes. The colours on the drawings are the same number. All the better as far as I'm concerned.
