Yep. Wider bars fitted so I'll be breaking my knuckles on trees no doubt. Assume last weeks route is ss compliant?

No trees on tarmac. Route is SS compliant, did it on mine last week. Is 15 miles though.

Got my own tool this week and I even (tried) to fix my cranks!

Are we riding on tarmac now?

What's the level of storm damage in LW?

If anyone records this on Endomondo or Strava and can send me a GPX it would be much appreciated. In process of relocating down to Hampshire (nr Southampton in Hamble) and trying to build a database. Will happily exchange for some Surrey Hills routes or Alps stuff. I would ask to join but not back in UK for a month. Look forward to meeting you in the future.

I've been out there this afternoon. There is surprisingly little mud down by Tanners Brook.

There are quite a lot of trees down, but they are mainly on the older stuff that no-one else seems to ride any more.

Seems like the trail pixies have been building massive jumps down by the motorway again, rather than clearing trails 🙂

Better than I thought it would be!

It got washed away when the brook flooded.

I realise I have been a bit shy on the beer front recently so have stuck £30 worth of beer in the fridge which should last the night.

There is still some Christmas cake and whiskey left over from the christmas party (and quite a lot of rice)

I won't be riding as I am about to rest my ankle in a hot bath with a bottle of wine. I will be in the garage for beer though.

Oh, Da Gansta Wagon will be on the drive ready for gentle mocking. There is nothing wrong with a bloke in his forties driving a SUV with blacked out windows and 20" Chromed rims...
