Yeah. Tired again as I was working in London Tues/Wed night so sleep patterns all buggered.
Ready to be loaded with essential bivvy kit for the weekend too!

I do love the simplicity of these threads. "The norm" is all it takes.

If the MNPR started with "the norm" it would degenerate in to Norman-based silliness in no time.

What's the standard/fitness like on these? I'm a bit out of shape and practice at the minute but it's a good location and I could do with being sociable occasionally.

It is basically slow and social. The faster ones shoot off ahead if they feel like it but wait at the top and bottom of the trails. you won't get left behind or feel humiliated - at least not while I am on the ride.

Adam only joined the ride last week so he might have a better perspective as a newcomer.

Why not come along one week and see how you get on...

The overall ride pace is social, we always regroup regularly at top/bottom and I've never known anyone to be left behind, even if they blow up spectacularly.
The pace of a few of the guys on the downhill and techy bits is blistering but it's good to try & keep up with them and there's zero ego with it.
I enjoy them even when I'm hanging out of my arse. (I'm not one of the quick ones btw)
