Built myself a lockdown jump bike for basic skills training and I was lucky to find a cheap frame with exchangeable dropouts (DMR swapout dropouts) so bought some horizontal ones to run singlespped and some chain tugs to keep it all straight at the back.
Trouble is the QR is too short and the hubs are old hope bulbs so I cannot change the axle like a pro2 or 4 ,
Whats my best options according to the hive mind? I reckon I only need an extra 5mm each side so I can nip it up tight and don’t really want to but a new wheel yet.
I can use without the tugs its those that are causing the extra clearance needed but
Like the security of them
Thanks
