A 2007 shock. Just pulled it apart, serviced it, put it back together. All nice and smooth, but no damping at all. And no, I didn't forget the oil 🙂
Ideas? I had a shim stack the wrong way round which seemed likely to be the problem, but it wasn't.

Ah, fixed it. Shims in the wrong place.
