Anyone running a 200 x 57 in their G13? Should be a 190 x 50 but it can handle a 57mm stroke.
Does it do anything weird to the geometry?

I don't have a G13, but you know you need to use offset bushings (the wrong way round) to preserve the geometry, yeah?

Might still feel slightly different.

@chakaping - yes, off-set bushings would get it down to a 196x57, so still a bit long.
But given how LLS it is it could work without feeling weird.

Worth asking on the Geometron owners facebook page, or give geometron a call, they are always helpful.

@Sofaking
Has longshocked his 13.
Can't remember the details but it involved offset bushes and a longer fork.

I have considered doing this ro mine, but if I'm honest, I just want the new S1 really.

@sofaking - is it a 200mm shock? They used to use some sort of custom 197x57 DHX2 when they sold it as an option, I guess the bushings achieve the same thing.

@honourablegeorge I’ve got the DHX2. It’s actually a 190x57. No offset bushings.
But I prefer air to coil so am looking at a CCDB air in 200x57.
Can offset bushings and run in the high position and will hopefully be very close to the standard 190x50 in Low.
I think. Just wanting to see if I’m right before I spend.

Yeah the standard one was 190 but they did sell it with the 197 as a longer travel option (when Mojo were still the Fox disti)

It is a custom 190mm with a 57mm stroke.
Mojo made them themselves.

I tried a 200*57 cane creek double barrel coil on mine with offset bushings.

I didn't like it.

I bought the same shock in 190*50 and love it.
