It was icy today (approach road was particularly slippy). It's currently snowing again, best check the One Planet site or call the centre tomorrow morning.

Went this morning and enjoyed it. Just did a blue as thought it best to aviod the temptation to get a too much speed up. Slippy in places, worse on the way up were the snow had melted and then froze again, the fire road may have been a better way up as it looked clear. Rode all the way with no pushing and no spills either (which is always nice). Truely a lovely morning to be out though and very glad we went.

Was a superb day, though really slippy.

Time to test the snowblower.

We were there on Wedneday evening and the blue and green were open. With the snow on the way up it ws pretty hard work ie a good work out. Came back down on the blue which I had not been on for a good while snow patches and fog in places made it pretty interesting !! So had a good time and well worth the effort of going.

The best bit though was the excelent Chinese food in the centre afterwards - £6 bargain but more importantly it really was quality food - should have taken the boss as well!!!

Just remember though its a bit of a Oneplanet 'faux pas' to ask about new trails (sorry - no offence meant just interested) being developed as some plonker is bound to mess them up before they are ready to be opened properly.

Maybe,
the additional black run parallel to the first black downhill section,
or
the new end for the red running back in to the trail centre
or
.....is it just loose talk in the cafe ??
