I've just received this email:

A Message from Night Enduro:

Race Postponed to Saturday 1st March 2014

We are very sorry but due to the amount of Snow that has fallen at Llandegla this morning we are going to postpone the race.

The forcast was for rain but this has fallen as thick snow this morning and with more forcast for Saturday we decided its best to postpone the race before everone start travalling to the race.

The safety of everyone is our top prority and we also have to taken into account not only competitors but also Marshals, Medics, and all event staff.

Everyone is automatically transered to the new date of 1/3/2014

Thank you for your understanding at this time.

Best Regards
Chris Roberts

Tough?
It's a little frustrating but unavoidable I guess. This is what happens if you rely on global warming to make trails in north Wales rideable in February.

Damn they get it tough up there. Never strikes as you as particularly high compared with other locations in North Wales, with no real big mountains looming around you like in Snowdonia, but they must be close on 400 M a the trail head, and they are snowed in a lot ! Unlucky to entrants and organisers

I'm looking over that way (north wales) and there doesn't look like there's much snow at all up there.
Cautious oraganiser.

Even a bit of snow up there causes problems, like the 2 car crashes today, and a snowy car park and 2 narrow roads in and out along with a steep access ramp for vehicles in the dark make it a bit of a liability.

Also its on the dark side of the moor so the sun doesnt melt the snow very quickly.

Blind boy, I could be interested in your entry if it's transferable.
