Hi

Was going to ride Whinlatter Forest in the lakes however, the FC are reporting that the top loop is closed due to snow.

So thought about Llandegla instead - any snow affecting the trails?

I drove past it today with work and no sign of any snow in the area (from the road), but I didn't see the top of the trails.

Saw cars with bikes coming and going, lucky sods

did a loop of the red this evening; it was lightly snowing but wasn't really settling on the ground, everything was ridable including the logs

temperature was about -1 degrees

TBH - i find the snow makes it a little more interesting....

I rode it in about 4" of snow anout 2 yrs ago. Spun out on the big berm (back wheel overtook me) but other than that was much fun.

like chunkypaul said, I did the black tonight and it was fine, dry in places, it briefly tried to snow but hadnt settled as yet, northshore was a bit slippier but all was still rideable.
