Hoping for a couple of nights away end of May time. Any recommendations?

There's a good campsite just at the bottom over the road if that's an option?

Yes it could be, would prefer b&b though. Cheers.

There are only a handful of places nearby. The Llandegla Fishery now has accommodation as well as camping and 'The Grousemoor' has been renovated. I haven't stayed in either so you would have to read reviews. A 20 min drive, The Raven in Llanarmon yr Ial is community run but in a tiny village. Llangollen has the most choice, with a 20 min drive over the Horseshoe Pass and access to routes on that side of the mountain.

Llangollen has loads of accomodation. You could even park at the top of the Horeseshoe Pass, cycle up to the masts and in the back of Llandegla
