How on earth do you get something that is as rigid as a porn stars whatsit to bend to the profile of your chain stay? There are 6 cable ties holding mine down and it looks crap.

£7 wasted.

Pah.

recommend the neoprene ones myself, take it off to clean occasionally but prevents the noise of clain slap too, well worth £8

Carbon fibre self adhesive. Should have gone for the neoprene/velcro thing.

lol, yes you should have.. anythin adhesive is a waste of money on MTB's.

Have you tried heating it up first (with a hairdryer?)

Old inner tube. Does the job, cleaner, lasts lomnger and apart from the fact it has no poncey writing, looks a lot better in my opinion.

Failing that, road bike bar tape.

I had PACE Carbon Armour ones on my old bike many years ago and they were fine IIRC.
