Abdominal + Einstein + song about bikes = awesomeness! Oh yeah, and nice riding too ๐
you ride woburn?
Yeah, I rode it on Friday for about 4 hours then again on saturday just looking for new routes and taking the slow bits easy ๐
high 5 col!
jason sent me an amazing feedback email
Nice little vid. I liked the song as well, love old skool hip hop.
Bingo.
Yeah, he's got verbal diarrhea that boy! But, it's all true.
kind words, thank you
Is Woburn in Oxfordshire? nice vid, looks like some good trails ๐
nice trails, squeaky brakes.
๐
Woburn looks like fun. Is it worth a trip from south of london?
Great, I want to do a video now but I've only got an Instamatic.
I can place it all apart from the very first bit. I thought the Moat but it's too rooty.
Great little vid. Also struggling to place the very first clip. I started collecting a few little bits of footage last summer round Woburn to put something together but might start again from scratch when the weather improves.
heh heh heh,
i knew some locals will struggle with the 1st bit ๐
On the way over to the church?
yep
Jedi, Just wondering where exactly Woburn is? ๐
Have a little search for 'church road, Woburn Sands' and that will show you the rough area...
looks fun, nice vid too.
BUT
skidz are for kidz

I head out thegre a lot from Kingston. Well worth it, good little play area.
Can't place the track that you jump - the one with the yellow footpath sign in the foreground.
Must be near the play area judging by the dense younger firs in the background?
its right by the road. i dug part of th trail 10years ago ๐
Anyone got a multimap linky to a good starting place/car park?
Yeah I only need to wear a helmet on my crosser coz of you herberts flying over my head ๐
Broke a spoke on my crosser going down that bit last week, which is Rad ๐
Brought back memories, that. There used to be a great jump there, a step down between two trees followed by a horseshoe berm around a tree and then a big double. I haven't ridden there for years mind.
the old kicker over the island?
You are talking in code there, Jedi. It was just past a clearing where there all logs laying around? There was a bit of a downhill run that ended in the same place that the double was.
what double? im confuddled
Gawd, I'm going back 10 years at least mate. There was an old stile that was by the lay-by where we all parked. 100 metres or so in front of that there was a clearing and a little jump that led into a step down. From there you went straight up a big, right hand horseshoe berm maybe 30 ft high and then straight into the big double. I think! As I say, it's been years.
i used to ride there back then too. memories fade eh
I remember thinking I was effing superman the first time I did that double, it was big. Especially for those days when we rode small, modified XC bikes. I saw several frames go in half on that jump...SNAP!
Great vid, makes me want to ride there!
nothing rad or gnar or whatever, just plain old mtbing ๐
I remember that double Stevie! Used to be a drop off by the roadside as well, probably 4-5ft on a slight bend. Did that but ran off the track and into the undergrowth. Good times.
Going to get back up there with the kids this year. Saving for a coaching lesson with Tony for my son and I to.
"a little jump that led into a step down" That little jump was a huge tabletop to me on my Muddy Fox back in the early 90's! ๐ณ That was back in the day when the area behind there was still a quarry.
