Hi guys. I'm hoping you chaps can advise me on the best way to do this. It's time I cleaned, degreased and lubed up. I would like to know your opinion on the best MTB stuff. I'm looking at the Fenwicks range for foaming degreaser, all condition lube and disc brake cleaning spray. Is there better alternatives in that price range?

Also thinking about their suspension lube spray. Any good?

Thanks

I generally use [insert] whatever bike shop has in and on offer [/insert] and it's great.

For degreaser, use water and a brush. Generally bikes ger covered in mud/dirt, both of which wash off with water, or if yo let it dry it just brushes off.

For chain lube, use Rock'n'Roll extreme (then stuff doesn't get greasy anyway)

For disc brake cleaner, use mud. Or nothing.

I used to buy (insert list of 6 different cleaning products here) and go through a long ritual of cleaning that it took to remove the accumulated dirt mixed with (insert current lube of favour here), and then spend as long again trying to clean myself afterwards.

Now I use squirt lube and don't bother with any of that. If its wet I take the chain off after a ride, and put it over a radiator.

I still have some degreaser etc, just in case , honestly cannot remember the last time I used it though...

For disc brake cleaner, use mud. Or nothing.

this, if mud doesn't sort them, they're ****ed. Lifes too short 8)
