Beyond the mentalness of the descent, and how they got round those switchbacks dab-free, my other thought when watching was why the hell is he 2nd guy riding so close to 1st guy? I'd by wanting some room. (If theoretically I was ever godlike enough to ride stuff like that!)

Thanks, know what you mean about following the lead biker quite close, guess you can if you know he isnt going to dab or stall...

They need a trail like that at Kinchie. That'd sort out the drainage problems. And if the Yak fell off, he'd gently float to the ground aided by his flared trackie bottoms.

Tbh it didn´t look all that difficult, nothing too fast and the path is pretty wide most of the way down. So long as you have the hang of switchbacks you can do it.

Horrible muzak in the vid.

Yes, well mental. And I thought the run down to Puerto de Tazacorte was iffy (all the gear an no ...).

TF all the hikers got out the way. No dogs either, not sure a leash/trip wire across the trail would have go down well... oh...
