or a new one of these from deal extreme for £50.
Vote now....(please)
😀
new costs less with a warrenty matey 😉
i vote you get some custom trouties or deestars for that kind of moneys you would easy get over 1000 lumens or above the magic shine is only about 750 lumens you would only get 900ish if you ran it @ 2.8 amps.
thwang
tell me more of these 'custom trouties'... 😀
and deestars?
true about the warrenty, but i got my DX last week and in last week before christmas i was nearly knocked off 3 times in 3 days on the only 1 mile stretch of road in a 14 mile daily commute.
i have ridden with 2 frogs + 1 60 lumen headtorch and a cannondale/fizik back light since it was dark,
cars used to see me and think bike and just come out or across a junction at me.
NOW with 900 lumens, the last two nights on the way home, cars are actually stopping while im still 50 odd metres away from the junction because they have no idea what is coming..its greeat save your tenner and
get the 900 lumen , you cant knock the quality either,
but thats just my opinion
the niterider's are crap for reliability
The newt's not very bright, and the fitting method isn't great either.
i own both, albeit an older set of the minewt dual X2's
the dx light is brighter, marginally
the niterider is a properly sealed battery
i use the minewts on my commuter and the dx on my mtb.
wow trout lights look mental, 2100 lumens!!! But pretty sure they are all way out of my price bracket?
Ok thanks chaps looks like its a dealextreme order then unless trout does a ~£50 model...
