Yuck. So the snow is just melting then presumably.
I think there was a brief cold snap forecast for Thur night and a warning of icy conditions as a result on Fri morning, which might result in some clear ice forming, btu given the forecast temps for later on Friday can't see that lasting either.
I should've bought some mud tyres .....
Yup - very wet snow. My team mate had his mud tyres on and he seemed to be in the best shape of the three of us out there. I'm still running Ice Spikers as my mud tyres haven't arrived (still a BH here) and they were a nightmare on the bare rock. The third guy was on standard MTB tyres (not sure what) and he was getting traction issues in the mud and snow.
I've started a thread with pics of the track to help the preparations of those people who have never been there.

It's going to be a bogfest if this weather continues. If we get a freeze it's going to be really icy because I have never seen this much water on the track before.
