Awesome start to the race, and great to see Annie going well, although not looking as strong as Neff or PFP.
Crazy course to ride on an XC bike, and taking its toll with a lot of crashes already.
Awesome result for Annie's there hung in well on a tough day out there, getting hit now
Great race and result for Jolanda and Annie. Such a shame Swedish Cycling harpooned the Olympic Champ Jenny Rissveds chance of competing....
15 mins till the men go ice vests deployed and they are packing the boxes, on the start line waiting for the action.

Honestly, I don't think Jenny would have been anywhere near the podium in this race. Her form just isn't there. I take your point though, absolutely ridiculous situation which isn't fair on her at all.
Definitely well deserved win for Neff and great stuff from Annie. Such a shame for PFP with that puncture, I knew she was in good shape coming in to this race. She's tough as nails that one.
Also got to tip the hat to Schurter. What an amazing achievement. On any given day there are several riders in the women's race(s) that can take it but in the men's field Nino is king. No one out there can match him and the last half of that last lap was a fantastic example. What a talent.
