We're heading out to Les Arcs for a week after the Mega. It's new area for me and I quite fancy getting the memory map IGN maps of the area.

I think we'll probably go with some guiding for at least part of the week but it would be great to get a GPS tracklog or 2 of some good rides in the area just to see what's in store.

Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Cheers Doug - some good stuff on there. Still be nice to have a GPS route or 2 though. I guess I could plot the routes myself but I know from experience that takes ages ๐Ÿ™‚

Garmin connect site has a few I've used. Search around Bourg st Maurice.

I would definitly recommend getting a guide. Some of the trails you will be able to find, but most of the better stuff is off the beaten track and relatively unused and hard to find. A guide will really help you get the best of the area. Enjoy, its a great area.

Thanks Doug, we're heading out next week too. That map is great, I can draw all over my IGN map now. Sometimes you just dont want to hire a guide, so this is really handy.

Anyone got anything similar for Bourg D'Oisan area......?

Hainey - I agree, especially as most of us haven't ridden there before and I've heard very good things about the riding in the area - it'd be a shame to miss the best bits.
Still nice to have a bit of an idea what's there though and maybe be self sufficient at least some of the time ๐Ÿ™‚
