Anyone doing this next weekend? I have signed up for the 1 day option and am now bricking it. 60 miles is quite a long way isn't it.

Nasty climb out of amberly. But it'll be a brilliant day. I'm jealous!

Is that like the Lion Trail but with a massive drop at the end? 😉

For me it probably will be chief. Also undecided on bike choice, safe shop built full sus, or untested over distance home built hard tail.

I would go hardtail personally. But then I've always wondered why anyone would need full suss on the South Downs. But then that's probably because I'm not rad enough....

It was more about the chancebf the bike falling to pieces rather than the type of bike to use. I am doing 40 miles on the home built hard tail tomorrow so if it survives that I am going to go with it for the same reason you mention Waller.
