(i)An action to recover any sum recoverable by virtue of any enactment shall not be brought after the expiration of [u]six[/u]* years from the date on which the cause of action accrued.[/i]
*I gather this is [u]five[/u] years in Scotland...?
Does this mean that if Edinburgh Council has not issued us with a final bill (or indeed any bill) within 5 years of any work completed under the Statutory Notices for Common Repairs Housing (Scotland) Act 2006 that they are s*** out of luck if expecting us to pay? The 5 year anniversary is almost upon us, and I'm just wondering...
