1. Can a lefty be installed on a frame with a 44mm headtube?
2. assuming it can, what is the maximum length of that headtube?
Yes.
You'll need 1 1/8'' internal HS cups.
From memory the maximum distance, predicated by the arms, is 136mm
This is for the Lefty PBR/Hybrid range - for Lefty Max its different again.
I currently run a Lefty on my Skookum that has a tapered HT, one on my Inbred thats soon to be on my Solaris.
Any questions just shout.
The hardest part to find now is a Lefty for all adapter.
Going on the Stache Daffy?

I have a lefty for sale, and a Lefty4All.
just sayin'
2.0 models (can) come in 4 different sizes: 97, 110, 122 and 134mm, respectively. You should confirm the distance before buying the fork.
All sizes on a Supermax: https://www.bike24.com/1.php?content=8;product=92458;menu=1000,2,121;mid%5B106%5D=1;page=1;orderby=3
First 3 mentioned in a 2.0 FSi damper chart: https://www.tritoncycles.co.uk/frames-forks-c6/frame-fork-spares-c152/cannondale-lefty-2-0-fsi-29-fork-damper-p15469

I'm interested in this .... save me taking the Lefty off of the Inbred.
Could you email me some more details please 🙂
I was considering a Lefty Oliver, but the max headtube size is 160mm.
In which case AFAIK you would need the XL (pre Oliver) PBR/Hybrid with 163mm spacing and even that might be pushing it!
Even then the Tyre clearance isn't great - I can run a 2.6'' NN 29er in my PBR90
iffoverlord:-interested in knowing more details on the lefty and lefty4all
Yeah my headtube is closer to 200mm, so it's not going to be getting an Oliver
I have a XL 29er Lefty Hybrid in the cupboard. I'll check the clamp spacing later.
apologise for threadjack OP
Its a Carbon MAX PBR 130, please send me a PM with your email and i'll send pics and full details
