Just had an email about the proposed Trail Centre at Middleton woods, Leeds.
There was a petition to about this a while ago as the council hadn't really advertised the proposals so no body commented on it and it seemed to get forgotten about.
Well it's now going through planning and looks great. Planning info for those who might be interested and you can log in and make comments. So far the majority of comments support the idea.

Well it's got to be better than nowt, and there's already unofficial trails in the woods which is on a hill so it seems like as good a place as any!! 🙂
Any way I'll be able to ride the trails on my way to work so I'm up for it.

there are some cracking tracks. the traverse/downhill to the bombholes is cracking all year round.
done it on all kinds of bike, mudguarded tourer through to Nicolai fr bike.

I only heard about middleton woods recently but the two main trails are brilliant. Looks like there's a few overgrown / old trails that could do with some maintainance. I've been meaning to bring some tools down one day and do a bit of clearing...
The youth on their motocross bikes are gonna love it!
