wow, what can i say, went yesterday to check out the new trails..(very windy yesterday !. anyway great stuff, just one or two places that were too soft under tyre (too soft for short climb)... so the start of the new 'red route' (straight into very rocky quite technical ...is this the normal place to start now...(half way into the quarry, on the left ) ....
had a go on the 'pump track' too (gud for skills)... and you have to get round it in one without peddling...like it !
my son and his mate had a go at 'The slab'... they did it with ease (rats).lol- whilst i stood quivering at the top.. they said it was a bit precarious at the ending... what do others think of the slab..
a few people were asking where the slab was...so im thinking they cycled all the way to the top of the quarry to start with instead of turning off left as mentioned above..
anyway fantasic place now and good berms ,one or two felt like gisburn !
