I got a text the other day saying that the bloke that owner my LBS (very keen cyclist and good mechanic) is back in business, although not in the same shop as he was.

To say I am happy is an understatement. He's about the only person in the area that I trust to work on my bikes, consistently did a good job on them and is reasonably priced. He's also local.

That is all really. Welcome back to business Paul.

LBS returning from the dead!

I know what you mean - my LBS seems to be constantly staffed by the recently deceased.

last weekend.....

ndthornton: "Do you have any hope X2 brake pads"
zombie: "err, hmmm, not sure"
ndthornton: "well that's where all the brake pads are" (points to area behind the counter) "but I cant seem to see any from here..."
zombie: "err, hmm, its definitely those ones that you want then is it" (picks up some Avid pads)
ndthornton: "Well yes, because my brakes are Hope"
zomie: "I can order you some..."
ndthornton: "thanks so can I" (walks out)
