been out of the loop of whats hot and whats not lately, but bent my XT drive side crank the other day on a rock 😳 so i need a new pair. would previously had gone and got xt's but due to baby/new house mortgage/maternity etc i'm on a pretty tight budget
anyone using the latest deore cranks? any good? not too fussed over a few grams but are they comparable to slx in terms of stiffness/bendiness etc. must be 170mm length and ideally come with 26/36 rings (which the deore triple does as i can fit my old bashring to make it a double with bash set up)
Not used the cranks, but have used recent Deore brakes, shifters and mech. It all works absolutely fine. My XT stuff is a bit lighter and uses slightly nicer looking materials and has a bit slicker action. But the deore brakes stop fine and the shifters and mech all shift with no issues too.
Ribble had the best prices last time I looked.
I'm using some new Deore cranks at the moment, although i've never had any better i.e. SLX/XT I think they're great!!
