i'm a newbie to all of this ski melarky so not sure where to look for best deals. any help much appreciated. was looking around mid feb for a week for 2.....
i'm assuming most places have stuff for beginners....

Mid feb might mean half term which will be busy and expensive.
I use Crystal Ski and Igluski mostly - had some great last minute deals over recent years.

is thomson any good?
bulgaria looks pretty cheap compared to others. and good newbie slopes too!

Thomson and Crystal are the same company. I've been with them twice and it was fine (slightly disorganised transfer on the way back on one trip but no major dramas).
I've heard mixed reports about Bulgaria. Personally I'd go for Austria or Italy if you want good value.
