Had my first proper stack for ages. Ego and Ability gapped by sky-ground-sky dirt interface on Dowies. Ah well, it's only blood, and I believe I am right in saying that beer replaces that, yes?
Brilliant ride today. Much, much more of that please ๐
they're just out up here in northern scotland.
they're just out up here in northern scotland.
I was in Braemar last week and the daffodils were still out ๐ฎ
Still in good bloom here but they're is no great woods where there on big numbers, just small areas.
I was loving Dowies until my second run ๐ Actually I still love it, I'd happily ride that all day. That last shot looks to be just past the trail than runs by the canal?
The second one is the bit of singletrack that's just across the first proper road crossing on your way back from Dowies, not far before Cannop if that makes sense. I used to ride the cyclepath along there until last week when I saw some riders on it. Never knew it was there till then.
I did Dowies twice too - not too bad a climb back up and it certainly is great fun.
Just realised - I was looking at some of your shots of the Black Mountains the other day - Rhiw Tramau and all that. I'm doing that run later in July. Nice!
Yep, thats what we call "Venice". Great little trail.
I'm going to do that route again really soon. One of my favs ๐

Braemar is in a world of its own!
Bluebells have been out for about a week/10 days here in Livingston.
They do make for a pretty sight whilst cycling around, but it bugs me that they are so late as it reminds of how crap the weather has been for the last long while ๐
still doing well in the garden, sadly not many in the local woods.
Gutted that the plebs have found Dowies ๐
