Had my first proper stack for ages. Ego and Ability gapped by sky-ground-sky dirt interface on Dowies. Ah well, it's only blood, and I believe I am right in saying that beer replaces that, yes?

Brilliant ride today. Much, much more of that please ๐Ÿ™‚

My dog, Scrumpy, in a bed of them yesterday afternoon - Ashdown Forest

Mrs Infidel points out that the picture value is lessened by him not being on a bike....

I was there yesterday morning too, although I pwned Dowies 8)

Here's a couple from last week. Amazing how quickly they start to wilt.

I was loving Dowies until my second run ๐Ÿ˜‰ Actually I still love it, I'd happily ride that all day. That last shot looks to be just past the trail than runs by the canal?

The second one is the bit of singletrack that's just across the first proper road crossing on your way back from Dowies, not far before Cannop if that makes sense. I used to ride the cyclepath along there until last week when I saw some riders on it. Never knew it was there till then.

I did Dowies twice too - not too bad a climb back up and it certainly is great fun.

Just realised - I was looking at some of your shots of the Black Mountains the other day - Rhiw Tramau and all that. I'm doing that run later in July. Nice!

Braemar is in a world of its own!

Bluebells have been out for about a week/10 days here in Livingston.

They do make for a pretty sight whilst cycling around, but it bugs me that they are so late as it reminds of how crap the weather has been for the last long while ๐Ÿ™
