What happens? Or......is it like reversing the flux capacitator?
You'd be hard pressed to actually notice any difference
Yes, but you have to ride backwards.
Oh and RIP their designer. 39 is way too young. ๐

Mr Agreeable I actually ride backwards when I climb hills...
I always run them the wrong way on the back and exactly as you say you get better traction at the expense of braking, grip stays roughly the same (think of all the tiny knobs like the big knobs on a high roller)
๐ก congenital defect? Fack. ๐
You want more grip? Get a different tyre.
I am assuming the knobs are ramped, like on the High-Roller centre-tread. If so, reversing the tread will give you:
More drive traction
Less braking traction
More rolling resistance
Seeing as most of the braking power off road comes from the front brake, you'll hardly notice a loss in braking power from reversing a rear tyre.
I noticed the other day that I'd somehow managed to reverse both my Fire XC's. Needless to say I discovered this by looking at them not by riding on them.
Ideally- more grip/not bothered about braking as I have Saints on- they are powerful!!. Havent fitted it yet.
