Hi
On One reckon the the largest tyre you can run on a Space Chicken in 700c form is 40mm
Has anyone run wider if so what were they
Thanks

They're probably building in a nice margin of mud-room to stop you grinding away your chainstays riding through really shitty off-road tracks. I have an oldish Ti "cross" frame that can't take even a 32 really, unless you're in california or somewhere similarly dry. It's a lovely frame and one day it'll be my "light tourer" but for now it's a garage ornament

Wtb resolutes set up tubeless. No issues with them at all.

The actual tyre width will depend on rim width as well, tyres are a few mm wider on wider rims.

I’m toying with the idea of using my DT xm1501 30mm Wheels

I've got 40mm nanos on mine on Hunt 4 season wheels. Room to spare so I think you could go bigger. Definitely at the front.
