Heading down to Lake Garda at the weekend with the MTB and the roadie. I've got some ideas for offroad stuff, but have never tried to piece together a road loop before. Anyone have any suggestions?

Have a look on gps-tour.info

Mostly in German, but I think you can switch to English, although the description won't change.

Lots on there to look at. You can also select what sort of tour you want...

Avoid all the tunnels or take your lights.

Lake Garda is quite large - an idea of start point, distance, how tough a ride you want would help. Plenty of loops up into the mountains or on the plain to the South.

Thanks Alpin - good website. The German is no problem - I live in Innsbruck ๐Ÿ™‚

I'm heading for Riva del Garda, so northern edge of the lake. All the times I've been before the roads have been choked with expensive cars being driven very fast, so I was hoping to find some advice to avoid that!

Hey Chris, been meaning to get in touch. Definitely should meet up soon.

For Lake Garza
Head down the east side until you get to Garda, then the following:
Captimothy Veronese
Spiazzi
Ferrara Di Monte Baldo
Brentonico
Mori
Then take the bike path back to Torbola / Riva.

Enjoy, the climb up to Monte Baldo is superb, the scenery changes massively from top to bottom.
