So I'm up in the Lake District for a few days with a mate. However he has got the lurgy and so this is a shout out to anyone in the area who would be interested in riding (mtb). Anyone want to join me? I have planned routes (yes, I did look at an OS map and researched recommendations from this here forum and other online resources). The route I had planned for tomorrow is in the north-east of the LD but if anyone local wants to join me and has some suggestions, I'm happy to accommodate the knowledge.

Saturday just gone rode the blue with my 5 year old and then the red after on my lonesome at Whinlatter.
Then did it all again on Tuesday.
But why didn't I see any other riders on the red?

I'd recommend skiddaw onto ulluck pike for some cheeky riding
I was planning on doing the High Street loop and the other one (Askham?).
Anyone? Alternatively, tomorrow, are there any club rides I could tag along with?
