Is it rideable? Basecamp mtb says it was not rideable as of the 18th but there have been no updates since?

Not been but I think there has been more snow in the last day or so, so I've been told, so I'd give it a couple of days. Just give 'em a buzz.

Judging by the surrounding countryside, even at low levels over the last couple of days, it'll be unrideable. More snow forecast over the next couple of days too. I'd give it a miss.

Aviemore had another large dump of snow yesterday early morning so I suspect Laggan has also had similar. Hope it clears up in the next few weeks, I'm hoping to get up for a day's biking as it's been ages since I was there last...

More snow in The Burg today - I guess that could mean a fresh load at Inners/GT too.

Was planning the Pentlands today and Gt tommorow but as the snow is lying in East Lothian ists probably pointless. When will this winter end.

I'm enjoying this winter...good to have such a varying seasonal year...it would be rather boring having 365 days of sunshine (although that does appeal, I'd be very bored of it day in and day out)...just adjust your pastimes/sports/whatever to the seasons, then i won't be quite so bad*.

*I'm based in Stirling and our snow has been rubbish this year...plenty of it but very thin coating it's hasn't affected biking THAT much...it has been different but hasn't stopped the majority of riding so I'm very much aware that my post might sound somewhat smug. Saying that, the only sport I do is MTBing so I just get out when I can - parent and other half working different shifts to me means it's once a week so even if it was biblical downpours - I'd be out.
