[Closed] KS Dropzone fitment on Trek Fuel Ex 8 / Remote fitment issue

Hi, I am fitting a ks dropzone seatpost on a Trek Fuel ex 8, everything has gone fine except for mounting the remote lever.

The grips I have are lockon and I have removed the clamp top replace it with the remote lever as this acts as the clamp for the grip as well. However it doesnt seem to fit properly when mounted, it fits fine off the bike but when I slide the grip on the remote lever pops open slightly so I am then unable to tighten the bolt.

Do the odi lockon grips come in different sizes at all, or perhaps my grips are not actually odi grips? Anyone had a similar issue?
