I want a dropper but dont mind not having a bar mounted control. This seems like a good option. Is there better for this price.

Im gonna get a dropper within the next month. Im off the bike with torn ligaments for the next month so i have time to shop around.
Same post as my old KS i900R... Was temperamental at first but it's been great with only irregular servicing since then. You get the benefit of KS's learning curve, they released a couple of complete internal revisions for these as they worked out how to make them work! And by the end they had it absolutely nailed. But, do be aware you can't convert it to remote at a later point like you can with the i950, Gravity Dropper etc.
YMMV of course but I would really strongly recommend getting a remote! I had a lever Gravity Dropper and it was basically a tease, "Imagine how useful i'd be if I had a remote!"
That looks like not a very easy method ๐ Extra hole? What's the cable attaching to there at the front?
To be honest bud i bought it like that. The guy i bought it off did a good job on it.Hole drilled and thread tapped on one side. It,s because the pivot point is different between the two.Didn,t you buy the red collar off him and send me down the seal.I,m sure it was you.??
That,s the rubber boot for them to stop some of the crud..

Ah yeah, I forgot that was you ๐
The thing that the rubber boot's attached to in your pic- the wee silver nubbin that sticks out the front of the "head"- isn't there on the Dropzone now, just wondering if that's something he's added somehow or if it's an older one that had it or something.
I think it,s just a standard non remote i900 with an extra wee hole Nw.. ๐
You've only gone and proved my wrong Nw.What it looks like has been done by the positions of the two holes is that he's leverized (new word) a remote version then changer it back to remote.
Round one to you. ๐
