Anyone use ODI grips with the KS remote as one of the clamps?

Doesn't seem to be enough room on my bars so thinking of getting some... but had heard there can be issues with twisting.

Yep I use the KS remote instead of one of the clamps. No issues so far and I've done quite a few miles in all conditions and all sorts of riding (commuting/xc/dh) - just make sure it's done up properly and there shouldn't be a problem.

I've got one on my uberbike FauxDI grips and it works fine. Nearest thing I've got to an issue with it is that it means I have the grips angled not quite where they'd be for maximum aesthetic appeal. I survive, somehow.

Oh, and the way the cable exits the remote is a bit awkward for routing around my brake lever, that was mildly annoying.

I agree with milko9000, everything works perfectly but my grip is twisted out of line...its no biggie and the set-up looks smart!!

I tried it in place of one of the collars but didn't like it.
I like the lever to be positioned a bit further away from the grip.
Seems easier to operate there.
